Need Advice

Okay so I've been sitting on this problem for awhile.

A friend of mine graduated from High School last year, and we haven't kept in touch. However, a few weeks before school was out I was at her house. She has around 10 cats that continue to breed and produce babies. As well as 3 gerbils in Critter Trails (I dont know which one. Theyre like... domes.)

All the gerbils are agressive and in seperate cages, btw.

So I'm thinking of asking her if I can take the youngest one (because thats the one that wont lunge when you come near it.) I'd like them all but.. I only have room for 1 more x_x;

So yeah. I'm not sure if I should or not. I'm going to see her in 10 mins because I just "reconnected" with her today.

Advice? Please?

She'll probably willingly give him (I think him) to me, since she has been trying to get me to take a kitten all day.

I got them! (yes, I said THEM)

Two of them got out and were either killed and eaten by the cats or lost forever. She begged me to take both of them (if I hadn't taken them she said they were going to throw them outside =/)

One is pure white and the other is deep black with a white bit around its mouth.

I've no clue the genders. They were calling the white one a girl and the black one a boy, I've no clue. The white one is tame, yay! The black one isn't, however. I'll have to work on that.

Shes still begging me to take a cat o_o

I'm glad that you rescued those gerbils! Congrats on your new additions, taming the black gerbil won't be too hard, I don't think... I had a demon-gerbil (Bou, my current) for about 7 months before I tamed him right, though, so I'm not one to talk. He didn't bite though, he just ran/was skittish. He's still cage shy but that's it.

Are you a Harry Potter fan? If you are, then I suggest Nagini (the name of Voldemort's snake) for the black one. I think it fits since he bites. X3


No ideas for the white one yet, though...

Naaah, Im not a harry potter fan XD

and I try not to name my rodents from characters from books/movies/etc that people I know would recognize. (For example. Kai is from Beyblade, but is also Japanese. So even if my friends knew about beyblade, I could claim its just from Japanese XD)

They've been named and they have genders!

White - Tiki "Tick" Male
Black - Zeke "Zee-Zee" Male

I was hoping Tiki was a girl, too, since I've never had girls.

Tiki has such an awesome personality, though. I'd like to get him a bigger cage. It just seems like 10 gallons isn't enough. It looks crowded =s

I wouldn't mind switching his cage with Kai's, actually, since Kai is getting old and moves around less ._.

Heres some more new pictures. Tiki decided to taste me today, but didn't really hurt me. Just mouthed at my hand. I keep rearranging his cage, I think he's mad about it xD

I decided to test and see how bitey Zeke is, so I put on a thick glove I use to tame Devil and put my hand in Zeke's cage. He instantly started eating the glove as if it was a chew toy D: It's making me nervous about putting my hand in again x_x












I've changed Tiki's bedding because I found half a bag of the old bedding. Apparently dad went to bed at 5am this morning, so no new bedding for Zeke (or cage, for that matter ><') until he wakes up in a few hours :S

Yeah theyre fat, lol. Theyre on a diet, now. They were getting fed HUGE amounts of food a day, full of corn and sunflower seeds O_____o;;.

But yeah. Diet + Exercize, hehe.

And my dad is making me mad -_- He told me yesterday, when I Said "can you do ONE thing for me tomorrow?" and asked him to take me to wal*mart and he said yes. Now he's saying he didn't -_- even though mom is sitting there telling him he did.
