Cedar and pine wood shavings have been reported to cause serious health problems. These two types of bedding should be avoided at all costs. My personal preference is Carefresh. It is very absorbant of liquid and odor. Other safe alternatives include aspen and paper-based bedding. Scented bedding is probably not safe. |
