Carry on from Take 3, Here a simple but elegant-looking method which I learnt from a hamster forum contributor.

Basically similiar to the metal disk, a ceramic or porcelien disk such as this Oil Burner (for heating aromatherapy oil) has the same cooling effect, and a good pice of cage decoration too. That is of course if hammy would sleep inside....and believe me, some smaller one do.
