Chinese Hamster (Cricetulus Griseus)

Chinese hamsters originated in the deserts of Southern China and Mongolia. They are sometimes referred to as a rat-like hamster because their long and thin body, as well as their relatively long tails, resembles that of the rat. Chinese hamsters are very territorial and should be house individually. Females are generally more aggressive than males and both sexes should be separated after mating.
