Sexing Hamsters
| It is often not easy to tell the sexes of hamsters. The difference between a male and a female is determined by the distance between the sexual opening and the anus. Male hamster's anus and sexual opening are further apart than that of a female's. Another way to determine the sexes is to note that male hamsters have their testicles clearly visible on either side of the anus, just like mine. Females, on the other hand, do not have testicles. Males also have a sharper rear end than the females. |
