First of all, I met my golden syrian hamsters in June, 1999. One of my friends was breeding hamsters and she asked me if I wanted to have a hammy which was born in May. At first, I would have only one hammy, but my friend's acquaintance who would have had her another hammy canceled, so I had two. |
| Their Name
I named my hamsters "Guri-chan" & "Gura-chan" from my favorite Japanese children's book called "Guri to Gura". As you can guess, the characters of that book are field mice. I have put the link in my favourite web page collections. | Their Life
Unfortunately, I have to tell you that they went to hamster heaven in October 2001. They were real brothers, so they left this world at about the same time. They had lived with me for 2.5 years. I won't forget them and their sweet memories... |
